The mountain railway on the Niederhorn brings you conveniently to the starting point of your group event. Alpine-Orienteering run on the Niederhorn

Experience the fascination of an orienteering run on the Niederhorn.

On the occasion of the general meeting of cableways Switzerland, the Alpine-Orienteering on the Niederhorn was awarded with the “Swiss Mountain Award 2010”. (Recognition price for outstanding individual and group performances). Between the Niederhorn and Vorsass 3 different trails are ideal for orienteering. The Hasentrail (rabbit trail) is intended for beginners, while the Rehtrail (deer trail) is rated with the difficulty level medium and the Luchstrail (lynx trail) is for advanced runners.

Dirt scooters

Two routes that are full of variety lead from the half-way station at Vorsass down to Beatenberg . You can rent dirt scooters from the half-way station at Vorsass or from the Bärgrestaurant Vorsass, and can return them to the valley station of the Niederhorn railway in Beatenberg.

Trotti-Dinner

From 4 persons, every Monday to Friday from June to September you can travel into the sunset with a dirt scooter, and pleasantly round off your excursion with a leisurely evening meal on the terrace of the Restaurant Beatenbucht with a view of Lake Thun and the world of the mountains.

Hiking

Enjoy the world of nature and the breathtaking views on one of the many hiking trails.

Wild animal observation

From June to August, A wild animal specialist will guide you to the ibex colonies every Thursday. This is also possible for groups on other days.

Special train journeys

The Lake Thun-Beatenberg-Niederhorn Railways can also run for you and your guests outside the normal timetable. Enjoy an evening meal, celebrate your wedding, your birthday or your company anniversary in the Berghaus Niederhorn, followed by a return journey at a late hour.
Special train journeys can be booked in both the summer and the winter season.
