Sledging on the Niederhorn
The cable car conveniently brings you to the starting point of your sledging adventure. Sledges can be rent at the Niederhorn mountain station.
sledge run
From the Niederhorn to Vorsass (middle station) you come to pass trough snow covered winter landscape and the view to the Lake Thun and Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The sledge run is suitable for experienced sledgers and offers lots of fun for both young and old. The ride to Vorsass takes approx. 40 minutes.
Sledging combined with winter hiking
You can combine sledging with winter hiking on several winter hiking trails. more »
Starlit sledging (December 16th 2011 to March 17th 2012)
Every Friday and Saturday night sledging fans gather together on the Niederhorn. The sledge run from the Niederhorn to middle station Vorsass is marked with lanterns. The cable car from Vorsass to the Niederhorn runs every quarter of an hour. As supplementary offer a fondue dinner can be booked.

Sledge rental
Sledges can be rent at the Niederhorn mountain station. The rental charge is CHF 10.00 (plus a deposit of CHF 30.00 for the first sledge)
Family reduction
Pay for the 1st child and all other children travel for free (if accompanied by at least one parent). If one child has the Junior card, all other children travel free.
Equipment
Good shoes and warm clothing are required but we also recommend a safety helmet.
