The cable car brings you comfortably onto the Niederhorn for the start of your family trip in the Bernese Oberland. Whether sledging, night sledging, skiing or winter hiking, your family trip to the Niederhorn is sure to leave good memories!
Family reduction: Pay for the 1st child, and all other children are free when accompanied by at least one parent. This also applies to all leisure offers (e.g. skiing, sledge rental). The only exceptions are food consumed in the restaurants.
The Junior Card is accepted for the purchase of single tickets.
On the Niederhorn – Vorsass sledge run, you can sledge through the snow-covered winter landscape while enjoying the view of Lake Thun, and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The sledge run is suitable for experienced sledgers, and offers lots of fun for both young and old. The sledge run to Vorsass takes approx. 40 minutes. more »
Family ski resort
You can enjoy pure winter fun on 4 ski pistes with a height difference of 400 m plus the valley run to Beatenberg. The family ski resort is of a compact size, and offers fun for both beginners and for experienced skiers and boarders. more »
Even in the cold season, you still have a choice between a number of well-prepared winter hiking trails The hiking time is between 1 and 3 hours. more »
Night owls come into their own every Friday and Saturday evening (16th Dec. 2011 to 17th March 2012; except 24th Dec). The sledge run from the Niederhorn to Vorsass is marked with lanterns and the cable car travels from the Vorsass central station to the Niederhorn every half-hour. In addition, a fondue get-together and/or a mulled wine break (Glühwein) can be booked. more »
