Group trips to the Niederhorn
The cable car brings you comfortably onto the Niederhorn for the start of your group trip. Whether sledging, night sledging or winter hiking, your group trip is sure to leave good memories!
Sledging
On the Niederhorn – Vorsass sledge run, you can sledge through the snow-covered winter landscape while enjoying the view of Lake Thun, and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The sledge run is suitable for experienced sledgers, and offers lots of fun for both young and old. The sledge run to Vorsass takes approx. 40 minutes. more »
Night sledging
Night owls come into their own every Friday and Saturday evening (16th Dec. 2011 to 17th March 2012; except 24th Dec.). The sledge run from the Niederhorn to Vorsass is marked with lanterns and the cable car travels from the Vorsass central station to the Niederhorn every 15 minutes. In addition, a fondue get-together and/or a mulled wine break (Glühwein) can be booked. more »
Winter hiking
Even in the cold winter season, you have the choice between a number of well-prepared winter hiking trails. The walking time is between 1 and 3 hours. more »
Special train journey
The Thunersee-Beatenberg-Niederhorn-Bahnen can also run for you and your guests outside the normal timetable Enjoy an evening meal in the Berghaus Niederhorn followed by a late train ride, or organise your own individual programme. We will be pleased to assist you in the planning of your own event!
