Ideas for a school trip

Versatile hiking trails

On more than 120 km of hiking and moutain trails, visitors and hikers can enjoy the unique panorama of the lake and the majestic white summits of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The flora and fauna on the Niederhorn is worthy of protection and will definitely take your breath away.

Free alpine-orienteering

The fascination of orienteering is the independent planning of the shortest route and the feeling of success when finding the posts. Three trails with different levels of difficulty are ready to be discovered by your class. There is something to suit every age.

Versatile Trotti-biking

The highlight for young and old are the popular runs with Trotti-bikes from Vorsass to Beatenberg. You can choose from two different routes. We have kid’s Trottis which especially suit school age children.

Wild animal observation (guided)

Thanks to the well preserved nature there are still many wild animals living on the Niederhorn. With some luck, early birds will be rewarded with the sights of ibex, mountain goats, marmots and the king of the sky – the golden eagle.

RailAway

Are you planning a trip to the Niederhorn? Thanks to RailAway you can benefit with a combination ticket already  reduced on  public transport. Ask at your departure station for the beneficial RailAway-ticket (Rdf-Art-Nr. 5631).

Culinary delight

Along the hiking trails are many picnic and barbecue spots, for example the Flösch with a barbecue and wooden bench.

Several restaurants on the Niederhorn provide repeated opportunities for a quick break and something to eat and drink.
