trotti-biking

A different way of descent

You can rent our Trotti-bikes (a scooter-like bike without seat) from May to November. We created two different routes for you, one that will get you down fast and the other one at a leisurely pace.

Wind in your hair and hands on the brakess – our kids Trotti-bikes are suitable for children starting school.

Please note that the Trotti-bike rental is only open until 5pm.

Trotti-biking Route «Flanierama», Vorsass – Beatenberg via Waldegg

Leisurely route through the drawn out village of Beatenberg

The leisurely route «Flanierama» is flatter and leads mostly along paved forest roads and some nature paths. First to Bodenalp and then through the forest to the Rischeren valley. The last part leads you along the main road through the village of Beatenberg – the longest village in Europe – to Beatenberg station. Children will definitely need some breaks along this route, it is more leisurely but also more demanding as several upward slopes have to be taken.
