Travel by public transport or in your own car to the Beatenbucht at Lake Thun. From there take the funicular railway to Beatenberg Station.

Or else, travel directly to Beatenberg Station. Here you change over into the cable car, to head for the Niederhorn. With an interim stop at Vorsass Mid-Station.

Via Thun
Take the train to Thun Railway Station, head on with the STI bus, line 21, to “Beatenbucht”, then transfer to the funicular railway and cable car, respectively.

Via Interlaken
Take the train to Interlaken West Railway Station, head on by PostAuto, line 101, to “Beatenberg Station”, then transfer to the cable car, taking you up to the Niederhorn. As an alternative, take the STI bus from Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West , line 21, to “Beatenbucht”, then head on with the funicular railway and cable car.

From Interlaken West, take PostAuto line 101 to “Beatenberg Station”, then transfer to the cable car, taking you up to the Niederhorn.

The ship takes you across Lake Thun to “Beatenbucht” from Interlaken West, Thun or another landing stage.

Due to facilities suitable for handicapped persons, people with limited mobility can reach the Niederhorn without any trouble. The journey with the Niederhornbahn is fully accessible for travelers from Beatenbucht to Niederhorn Mountain Station (with the exception of Vorsass Mid-Station).

At Beatenbucht Valley Station there is a passenger lift which takes you to where you can board the funicular railway. By pressing a button, you can operate the hands-free intercom to contact the staff at the counter. In this way, you can board the funicular railway independently. At Beatenberg Station, the transport lift is operated by Niederhornbahn AG staff. Using another passenger lift, the journey continues until you reach the point for boarding the cable car that takes you up to the Niederhorn. Berghaus Niederhorn is at walk-in floor level and is wheelchair-accessible.

Entering and leaving the Bergbahn at Vorsass Mid-Station is likely to be difficult with a wheelchair or a walking frame, and is only possible using steps.
