Sledging fun in a most picturesque setting

Sledging on the Niederhorn – a memorable winter experience for young and old! Against the backdrop of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau, the route takes you through the wintry forests and snowy mountain landscapes. Venturesome winding passages alternate with cozy sections. The sledging route on the Niederhorn is one of the most scenic in the Bernese Oberland.

Niederhorn – Vorsass Sledging Route 3 km

The 3 km sledging route, of medium difficulty, leads from the Niederhorn Mountain Station to Vorsass Mid-Station. The varied stretch with steeper passages, narrow bends and flatter sections can also be done by beginners. Small children should be supervised when sledging.

Not yet enough? Then get into the cable car at Vorsass Mid-Station again, and head for the Niederhorn, where the sledging fun can begin anew.

Tipp: On the Niederhorn – Waldegg winter hiking trail there are always one or two sections coming up where you can sledge. At Waldegg rented sledges can be returned to hotel Regina (Tuesday until Sunday) or hotel Beausite (Monday).
