Even in winter, the hiking trail on the Niederhorn in the direction of Burgfeld is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Switzerland. Where there are otherwise green Alpine meadows, a well-prepared winter hiking trail leads through the snow-covered mountain landscape. Mountain restaurants, a pub and a snow bar in a most delightful location, and a ski lodge that exudes coziness await you. Stroll along at your leisure or take brisk, sporty strides through the magic of the winter.

Sledging options
On the winter hiking trail Niederhorn – Waldegg and Vorsass – Bodenalp – Beatenberg Station there are always sections that can be sledged. The hiking time of the winter hiking trail Niederhorn – Waldegg is reduced by approx. 1 hour.
The sledges can be returned comfortably in Waldegg at the parking lot of the Hotel Regina. From the “Waldegg” post bus stop you can take the 101 bus in the direction of Interlaken or to the Beatenberg railway station.
