On foot from Thun to the Niederhorn!
Watch out! This year, the Niederhorn is once again part of the “From the Lake to the Mountain” event with a new route. Have you always wanted to hike from Thun to the Niederhorn? Then register now! Places are limited.
Details of the route
Participants can look forward to a beautiful, varied and challenging route. The start is at Thun railroad station. From there, the route leads along Lake Thun to the Niederhorn. The hiking time is approx. 7 to 9 hours and the total distance is 25 kilometers. A total of 2,000 meters in altitude are covered.
Important to know: The hike is not a competition. There is also no timekeeping. The focus is on enjoyment and the experience! Participants will be provided with food and drink stops along the way.
The hike starts in different time slots:
- 1st start: 08:40 am (Early bird)
- 2nd start: 09:00 am
- 3rd start: 09:20 am
- 4th start: 09:40 am
